Big changes at 24 weeks. Happy 2014!

So, Monday was our HUGE second milestone.
1st: 12 weeks {CHECK}
2nd: 24 weeks{CHECK}  (VIABILITY!!!)
-If babies are born now they will have a 50/50 chance of survival
3rd: 28 weeks
 - If babies are born after this they will have over an 80% chance of survival due to overall more lung maturity
4th: 32weeks
- Just kind of a personal milestone for me.
5th (AND FINAL): 35 weeks!!!! then, we can HAVE THOSE BABIES!

Thursday, January 2nd we had our 24week growth scan and cervical length check. All the babies look amazing.

Jack is 1lb 12oz (98%), Clara is 1lb 13oz (100%), and Livy is 1lb 7oz (81%)

AMAZING measurements. Olivia is the only one actually measuring according to my dates, the other two are just super fat and measuring like a week ahead. Typical.

Like I said in the last post-because they are getting more squished in there we don't get very good photos at the ultrasounds anymore. This week, surprisingly, the only cutie willing to cooperate was Miss Clara. Here are two adorable profile pics of one our princesses

that little line above her body is a membrane between her sac and her sisters. That white mark above her nose is most likely Olivia's cord or something in her sac. I can't believe how huge they seem on the ultrasound TV when we go every two weeks.

So, the babies look wonderful. Their fluid is perfect, their heartbeats are perfect and their weights are perfect.

I, on the other hand, have been officially placed on modified bed rest until delivery! This is due mainly to the fact that whenever I am up walking or moving I start contracting pretty regularly and my cervix isn't liking those contractions too much. I don't feel any pain at all with them but, I do notice they are there. The length of my cervix is still around 4cm and it's closed, thank goodness. So, the bed rest is mostly precautionary. But, I'm doing my best to find as much help around the house as I can. We have an awesome lady who comes to the house every two weeks to help me clean--I think I am going to see if she can come weekly now. I'm also scouring the neighborhood looking for someone to take the big goofball doggies of ours for walks and playtime at the dog park here in the neighborhood.

As for baby planning, Mom and Dad came last weekend to keep me company and me and Mom started organizing baby clothes that I've received thus far. SO MANY BABY CLOTHES. We washed everything that was Preemie-3months. Once clean I folded and organized them into preemie, newborn, 0-3months, and 3month clothes and also separated them into boy vs. girls. Now, I just have stacks of adorable mini little clean clothes. The plan was to go to Ikea this weekend with Brandon and pick out a dresser for the nursery, but now I'm a little tied to the bed and can't really go wandering through the wonderful world of ikea.

{Baby Clothes Everywhere!}

Little Miss Ellie Bean looks a little lost in all the clothes. I think she's finally realizing that she's no longer going to be queen bee (not that we treat her that way anyways, haha)

I'm still so grateful for all the gifts are are getting in the mail from everyone. I'm so excited to get into the nesting mood after the baby shower!!!

Right now all we have is one measly little crib and two chairs on order. haha But, it'll come along quickly in the coming weeks. I'm not worried in the slightest. Especially knowing what my Mom and Mother in law are capable of! hahaha
